Whaleback Lighthouse

The Cape Cod coast is infamous for its treacherous waters and jagged shoreline, earning the title ‘ocean graveyard’. Between Truro and Wellfleet, over 1,000 shipwrecks have been recorded. Standing since the 1800s at one of the outermost tips of this perilous stretch, Whaleback Lighthouse warns ships of looming danger.

Beyond its role as a beacon, the lighthouse’s isolation makes it an ideal docking station within the global airship network of Katadesis. This secluded outpost is the domain of Jorgen Olsen, who has overseen its operation for the past decade.
